Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
In addition to all the other Christmassy goodness you're enjoying -- cloying carols, rock-solid fruitcake, reindeer sweaters from grandma -- I'd like to make but a small recommendation.
Stop in to your local police precinct or fire station with some homemade treats. I like to bring cupcakes because, well, I can call them "Cuppcakes." And everyone knows I love a good play on words.
Or bring some toys into your nearby hospital...imagine being a 7-year-old and having to slurp down green Jello tonight with nurse Helga.
And of course, if you can, bring some food in to your local soup kitchen or homeless shelter.
Here's hoping you have a wonderful holiday...making someone else's a little merrier.
