Not mentioning that the current PBR champion, Guilherme Marchi, is Brazilian seems like a pretty big hole in your column. I'm also not sure if the cowboys would appreciate the use of "ho-down" to describe their place of business. Other than that, you do seem to get the atmosphere, culture and danger of the sport.
